Since I am just getting over a cold, I am coughing up black stuff from when I smoked! Let me repeat that for better understanding... I am STILL coughing up black stuff and it's been almost 2 years since I smoked! Cigarettes are nasty things and I've obviously had damage to my lungs from them (smoked 15 years of my life on and off). So thank god I got sick (when I never do) because it brought some of the junk out of my lungs! It's never too late to quit but take it from someone who battled to not smoke for the last 6 years and who has been quit for almost two... it's worth it. It's worth it to breath again! It's worth it because I have 3 people depending on my health. So when I talk to you about quitting it's not me trying to be condescending, it's me trying to help you so you can be healthier!
