It's 520 am do you know where your shrewlet is? Why she is in wake med ER! Waiting on results of CAT scan to determine cause of lower left abdominal pain. Morphine has taken off the edge of the pain, but still the occasional spike. Hopefully I will get out of here in time for work at 7. Will keep folks apprised as things happen.

UPDATE: Primary cause for LLQ abdominal pain... Epiploic Appendagitis. Basically, Epiploic appendagitis is a rare self limiting inflammatory process ... involving an appendix epiploica of the colon. It will be treated with pain meds. 2nd. I do have a VERY tiny kidney stone sitting in the left kidney, but that is not the cause of the pain. however, it WILL cause pain once it decides to pass. Finally they found a mass on my left adrenal gland. The dr wants me to schedule a MRI to make sure that nothings wrong with it. As I had already scheduled an appt to see my PCP on friday anyway yesterday, I can follow up with her on the MRI. So, I'm home and about to clock in for work and go through my normal 10 hour shift.
